Detailed Description

This lens allows UV light of ~365 nm to pass through, blocking most of the light beyond 365 nm.
Transmittance:
~0% < 275nm
~85% (Peak) @ 365nm
~0% >400nm <675nm
Secondary Peak ~40% @ 775nm
<20% above 825nm
Used in forensics, Testing, chemical analysis.

Actually, this block visible, passes UV!
I wanted a UV pass filter for photography for years. Typically these are hundreds of dollars. I saw these and could not resist buying several. You have to make your own mount and theyre a little undersized for most SLR lenses, but most digital cameras can detect UV and you can get a useful UV image thru these filters.
